MEET THE Team

Audrea Woll
Executive Director

I am a mother of two beautiful daughters and a handsome step son.  I spent much of my youth making all the wrong choices and took many rough paths to get where I am today. During my journeys I found myself homeless with my girls. I took them down a long, hard road, but I do not regret any of my past.  It made me who I am today, willing to fight to help others break the chains and cycles of poverty.

I started college as an eighth-grade dropout and earned my first degree while fighting homelessness.  I graduated from Skagit Valley College with an Associate of Technical Arts degree in Human Services (with an emphasis on Chemical Dependency).  While there, I was vice president of Leadership for the Honor Society, a liaison for the Human Service Club.  I was peer mentor at Friendship House and was recognized by Governor Jay Inslee at the All-Washington Academic Team.  This came with a scholarship that allowed me to pursue my BA degree in Human Services with a focus on Law and Social Justice at WWU.  During that time, I maintained employment as a Disability Specialist for SVC and WWU.  I hope to begin the pursuit of my Masters in Non-profit Administration and Leadership on a part-time basis sometime next year.

I started at Family Promise a little over three years ago as a Program Coordinator for Christ the King Skagit, and later was asked to come on as an intern to create the legal documents for our first Transitional House (Promise House).  I am so grateful for and feel called to the mission of Family Promise.  I know that the path out of homelessness is not an easy one, but I feel that my fight has led me to this place, serving children like my own, who never asked to be homeless.

Angela Fields
Transitional Housing Case Manager
Angie has been married to her husband Gabe for 10 years. Together they have 7 Kids and 3 Grandchildren. Through her faith she has been able to overcome many adversities. She has a passion to serve others and strives to make a difference. In 2003 after years of struggling with addiction and hopelessness, Angie found a new hope in the lord. She was able to take all of her pain and past mistakes and use them  to understand and help other women with similar experiences. In 2007 she began to work for PCAP, a program that helps women to set goals, connects them to services in the community , and encourages them to take steps to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Angie is passionate about helping others , and being part of positive change. She is grateful to be part of the Family Promise team and is committed to helping end homelessness in Skagit County.

Danielle Cornish

Danielle was born and raised in Skagit County. She is a proud mom to her 3.5 year old daughter and she is engaged to be married next year. She went to Skagit Valley College and found the Human Services program which led her to finding Family Promise. She started as a practicum student, part time, for about 6 months before COVID hit and was forced to leave. She was then brought back as a full time employee at the end of May and is now the IHN Case Manager and Youth Services Coordinator at our Daycenter location and looks forward to the great work she can help provide and assist families who are facing hard times. She looks forward to being able to be apart of the Family Promise team and network and giving back to her community.
Amber Lang
Amber is a mom to 3 kids, and lives in Mount Vernon. Her family loves being residents of Skagit Valley, and is very thankful for the community they have found here. Their home church, Communion Church, led them to find Family Promise, and it has had a profound impact on Amber's personal and professional life. Amber is currently a student at Skagit Valley College, working to finish her Bachelor's Degree in Human Services. She has 18 years experience working in nonprofits and has a heart for serving communities and loving people as Jesus loves them. Amber is the Volunteer Manager and Family Mentor Manager and enjoys connecting people to service projects at Family Promise. When she's not at work or at school you can probably find her watching crime shows or playing outside with her kids.
